About this video: Live casino tips
We play a full round of live roulette from start to finish. You see the dealer, the betting timer and two bets: £1 on 17 and £2 on red. Then the spin, the result and the payout, which is credited to every player at the table at the same moment.
It also covers what changes on other live games. Live blackjack, roulette and baccarat follow the normal rules, but the return on live game shows can differ from bet to bet. Most welcome bonuses count little or nothing on live tables, so check the minimum bet and the bonus terms before you join a table.

Let’s look at live casino by playing a real round together.
This is a live roulette table. There’s a real dealer spinning a real wheel in a studio, and it’s all streamed straight to you. And you’re not alone, because lots of players join the same table at once.
When the round starts, you get a few seconds to place your bets, so keep an eye on the timer. Here, we’ll put one pound on number seventeen. And two pounds on red.
Once the timer runs out, betting closes. The dealer spins the ball, and now we just wait to see where it lands.
Seventeen, red! Both our bets win. That’s thirty-five pounds on the number, and two pounds on red. The result is read automatically, and everyone at the table is paid straight away.
Live blackjack, roulette and baccarat all follow the normal rules. Live game shows are a bit different, though. The return can change from one bet to another, so it’s worth checking the info panel first.
Most welcome bonuses count for little or nothing on live games, and some don’t allow them at all. So check the bonus terms before you play.
Before you join a table, check the minimum bet, and skip the side bets. Set a time limit as well as a budget, because live sessions can easily run on. And if you’d like to see what a session costs on average, try our free session cost calculator.
