Why the biggest bonus isn’t always the best

A bigger bonus usually means more to wager, and every pound you wager costs a little on average. A win cap can also limit what you can withdraw, however lucky you get. The comparer works out each offer’s average value as the bonus minus the expected cost of clearing it, and then applies any win cap.

No-wagering offers (set wagering to 0) often come out on top. They tend to be smaller, but whatever you win is yours to keep.

Questions

How accurate is the average value?

It’s a simple guide based on the RTP and wagering. Real results vary a lot from session to session, and terms like game weighting, time limits and maximum bets can lower the value further.

Should I always take the highest value?

Only take a bonus if you would play anyway. If you’d rather keep things simple, playing with your own money means no terms at all.
